Daria Cosplay

This is another Cosplay character I put together. This is Daria from MTV's Daria. I used two patterns to create this out fit. one was a vogue jacket with minor alterations done to the pattern, the second was a McCall's skirt pattern once again with minor alterations done. The Jacket is made of a heavy Poly jersey. The skirt is made of a cotton jersey. The skirt has one hook & eye and a 9" black standard zipper. The jacket has fusible interfacing in the collar & a metal separating zipper. The dickey is done with an orange cotton & two snaps. It is attached inside the front of the jacket & could move or adjust as needed. I chose the wrong jacket for the jacket & it is clear once I got the pictures. I wanted to go with a green wool or cotton suiting but sadly the fabric stores I went to did not have that color in stock for this season. The back ground is the Victorian Parlor from the place I work
